John Locke believed that everybody was born with natural right, those rights were; life, liberty, and property. John Locke proposed that every bodies mind was a Tabula Rasa or a blank slate. John Locke also believed that the government's purpose was to protect the citizens natural rights and if they failed to do so they could abolish the government.
Contradictions: Both Lock and Rousseau believed that everybody was born with natural rights which included; life, liberty, and property. They both also agreed that if the government did not protect the peoples natural rights then then they were able to abolish the government if they thought they were not doing their job.
