Democracy gives power to the people. There are two types of democracy which are representative democracy and direct democracy.
In a representative democracy the citizens have the power to vote for representatives. Then the representatives handle all of the political issues. If the representatives fail to do their job the citizens can vote for new representatives. In a direct democracy the citizens directly handle political issues. Citizens would be constantly asked to help in lawmaking or even be a judge in court. |
